Tune into you
So that you can tune into the rest of the world
“The opposite of fitting in is belonging”
Welcome, let’s tune in and connect.
I’m Amber. My life has been centred around movement and connection. The most transformational move being in my youth when we immigrating to Australia. That experience taught me that connection is crucial to my well-being and I embarked on an outward journey of understanding how I fit in in the world.
Over the years, through many trials and tribulations, this journey has guided me inwards to find where I belong.
And now I’m studying to become a holistic psychotherapist with Connection Culture under Lee Trew. I hope to support you on your journey, wherever that may be, with care, compassion and dignity.
What I offer
Holistic psychotherapy (Coming Soon)
I’ll be practicing as a heart centred psychotherapist, offering remote sessions for individuals or couples at the start of 2026.
Drawing on somatic and narrative therapy approaches, I’ll walk the edges of life with you offering to hold space, guide and sometimes teach. Often the most difficult seasons in life are preapring us for the most beautiful times ahead. However this is not work we need to do alone. In a society that promotes individualism, I’m passionate about contributing to repairing our sense of connection, to ourselves, each other and the world around us. Connection truly is a balm like no other.
Please get in touch if you’re interested to know more.
Consulting
I’ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals and organisations to create safe workplaces. I’m particularly passionate about diversity and inclusion, especially for those marginalised due to their sexuality, gender identity or emotional distress.
If you have a deep commitment to growth and transformation, I’d love to connect and discuss what services I can offer to facilitate and support positive change.
With a near decade oexperience in the human services sector and a lifetime of lived experience, I can offer professional expertise to your project, program or policy development.
Poetry
For something different, you might find some words of comfort in my reflections here.
Gently, gently is the way. The heart heals in the manner of the heart.
I belong, you belong, we all belong. We are enough in our darkness and our light.
We’ve defied odds to be here tonight. Know I see you in your struggle.
That you have strength, you’re not invisible.
